Jordan Reopens to International Flights
The Queen Alia International Airport resumed international operations on Tuesday, September 8, nearly six months after it closed due to the coronavirus pandemic. Depending on country of origin, travelers will be required to follow strict protocol before and upon entering the Kingdom.
'Dune': Wadi Rum Desert in New Trailer
“It was really surreal,” Timothee Chalamet, 24, told Variety, of shooting a scene at dawn in the south of Jordan. “There are these Goliath landscapes, which you may imagine existing on planets in our universe, but not on Earth.” The film chose the otherworldly location of Wadi Rum, that has also been featured in Hollywood hits like The Martian, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker and Aladdin. Dune is slated to be released in theaters on December 18, 2020.
